When it comes to webdesign, a client is normally cautious. Cautious for various reasons, but the biggest one being fear of the unknown. "I am now entering the world of the Internet, and it is so scary, because I know nothing about it" might flash through your head.
We put together this handy little guide to help you choose the correct product when deciding on a website.
Yes, indeed. And then some. That is why you will not get a standard quoted price on most webdesigner websites. They would first like to contact you to establish what your needs are and then put together the correct product for you. Now, most of the times, your budget might interfere, but fear not, as most website products are made up of segments and you can decide what you want. Just ensure you ask for a detailed quote so that you know exactly what you are being quoted on.
We find this very often, where we finalise a product and then the client complains about the product not being able to this or that, or the product being able to do this and that.
Ensure that you empower yourself with as much knowledge as possible as to the product you are buying. If I buy a cellphone, I ensure that I know exactly what functionalities the phone has. It should be the same with your website.
o5webdesign gives you a full 13 page proposal as well as a detailed quote with all the specs on. The client needs to ensure they read very carefully through this to completely understand what it is they are buying.

5. Other products
5.1. Shopping Cart (read more) - if you have a business where you want to sell products online you will need a shopping cart. This is typically like going into a supermarket to buy products - you need a shop where the products are displayed (your online site), you need a trolley to put products you want to buy into (the shopping cart software), and you need a checkout - a place to handle the actual transaction (payfast, setcom, your own merchant account etc). We then setup this whole chain to ensure someone can go onto your online shop and do the online shopping up to the completion of the transaction.
5.2. Content Injector (read more) - this product gives you control over one or more pages of your website. Thus you might have a static website and you want to update your SPECIALS page regularly, we can add our content injector on that page and you can have full control over that page. NBNB - subject to the correct hosting requirements.
